Don't get your hopes up. Nothing has been said about new graphics or look or anything

The new look is long overdue and sky creative already posted in January when the new studio launched something about a new look Sky News. The post was later removed. Actually it looked as Sky News was about to introduce a look similar to the one of Sky Sports News. So I really don't get what happened that they changed their mind then?

I'm used to the glass box now and is used well during the daytime shifts, although I still think the Press Preview could do with a softer set, yet the new 'studio' is functional and that's it.
Sunrise would benefit from returning to to the glass box, leaving the 'studio' for VR related copy, weekend and overnight pres shifts.

I genuinely can’t bear the clinical white backdrops on the split screens and interviews any more! It just seems so plain and unimaginative compared to the deep blues that came before... Surely the people at the channel are looking at it and thinking it’s nowhere near as good as the old Sky News Centre? Couldn’t they have created a new studio with a similar style at Sky Central? Also, have the walls outside the glass box always been so beige? Sure everything looked fresher and a more crisp white when they first moved in... On a side note, the old logo was better too! The new one has absolutely nothing to it and I’m not sure if anyone else has noticed but the red in the dog version often seems to have a green tinge around it

I completely agree with this post and I am glad someone also notices that the nice fresh white inside Sky Central is gone and everything looks so beige. This might have the following reasons:
1. They have added warmth in the camera settings
2. They have installed window shades at the ceiling of Sky Central which makes the environment of the Glass Box look darker

The green tinge has been there since the new gallery was up and running.

Some brilliant shots in use in this clip
Why can't we see a return to some of these camera angles and views to at least mix things up a bit presentation wise?
Sadly, I think the current graphics package is beyond help. It needs a complete rethink and a total overhaul.
