Loved the lady in York this morning, amidst snow drifts, and wishing Steve Dixon a Happy Birthday LIVE on-air. Yorkshire folk are really something else. Great people.

Sky have a few anchors/reporters out and about today in deep snow.

I wondered why they were using those cards during sunrise, This morning the sports presenter is using an iPad which keeps getting covered by the fake background.
EastEngland and UBox gave kudos

I know that post about cue cards the other day was a joke but today it's an iPad which is partially reflecting the green and is being slightly chroma-keyed out. It's little things like this that just make the output less polished and seem less well considered.

Edit - richard beat me to it

Thanks James very kind Smile (I'm from Yorkshire)

They had a bit of fun later on too with Gillian and her producer having a race to see who could get up the hill the quickest. Gillian didn't get very far until she fell over but she kept trying not making much progress though.

I think you described it better though

and I'm sure you all will sleep better tonight by knowing that yesterday Jacquie was back to using the original red and white cards Laughing
