Isn't green usually to record the show being advertised?

It can be on Sky Q - but this green dot appears even on the YouTube stream.

They seem to be having a few issues which I assume are down to the automation being new. At the end of the 10pm hour Niall threw to the weather which then cut back to a shot of the studio and the cut to Niall after the TOTH at 11 was very abrupt.

At the moment the Milkbank studio is by far the most visually appealing.

What, they've been stockpiling the white stuff? Wink

This was from last night - Kimberley talks with a producer whilst a recorded Jon Craig VT plays

There's been issues since Wednesday pretty much with camera issues, music either not playing or abruptly cutting off, echos or no sound, timing issues on graphics, wrong stings playing (or even firing for no apparent reason) and abrupt cuts or cuts to the wrong place.

To be expected though with a brand new system that has been built from the ground up and the fact that staff are probably still getting used to it - I would expect it to gradually settle down over the next week or so.

How else are they going to make Millbank look like the other studios if they don't use the white stuff! Smile

It could just be as a result of testing and identing which feed is being broadcast.

Still they’ve been rehearsing for almost two months and it’s a bit embarrassing. The BBC didn’t seem to have as many issues with Mosart - probably the biggest issue was likely the Furios but robotic cameras frequently mess up.

Those appear on the right hand side within a box marked "Set Reminder", which then brings up a menu of recordings from which to select. It's only when watching a live broadcast, and it's something of a legacy feature from the original Sky+ software. It even retains the style of that era.

Sunrise starting today with Stephen and Gillian stood by the fake screen

It's wonderful to have them presenting double headed, and having a few little quips with each other. It seems a little more relaxed than in the week, but surely replicating the more relaxed nature warms to viewers first thing in the morning. Eamonn & friends set up in the shoebox worked well for that reason in my opinion.

Tom Rayner just got replaced with the Sky News logo during a live to Westminster.
