Was looking on Behance earlier and found this, which is from when Sophy Ridge on Sunday launched. It features some of the concept designs, and also a set design which never ended up being used which is quite interesting!
They also did the N6/TC7 2008 News channel backdrops as well.
Did they? I think they did a better job at those if they did
The News Channel backgrounds were pre-rendered videos playing on a physical set of screens.
ITV News and now Sky News has a 3D scene which needs to render fast enough to have real time motion tracking. So can not be as realistic, detailed, or elaborate, when rendering in real time with a green screen
Could see everything fine - although the start to 11am hour had a few issues with timing on graphics but nothing major.

They have fixed the camera and poor man being chopped in half with the fake floor over the top of them from yesterday
I've noticed a few minor issues
At the end of the weather just before 12pm they did a live wipe which instead of cutting to the helicopter shot it showed the end of the weather sting again.
They also showed the wrong weather graphic
Then at the TOTH at 12pm the music suddenly went louder when it cut Gillian and Colin in the box doing the headlines
Name strap coming up and instantly getting pulled off to come back on again
The weather graphic was also wrong - it was stuck on Sunday 12:00.
According to the head of Sky Creative Sky News was "built from the ground up" so in fairness if everything has been rebuilt from scratch using more modern tech they've done a good job - glitches like this always pop-up in the first days and weeks of going live with such massive project.
