Considering there was a Tory leaders contest on ITV tonight, the Press Preview was excluding adverts around 16 minutes with a very brief look at the contest.
The Outsiders congratulate the election of a conservative government in Greece.@rowandean: The people of Greece have slayed yet another social dragon in Europe.
With BBC News launching a new graphics package, I wonder if it's time sky to have a refresh? They're starting to feel a bit clunky on screen these days though take up way less room on screen than BBCs do...

Also, of course, Sky is no longer owned by News Corp (having been sold to Comcast) and Sky News Australia and Fox News both are. It would make sense to make that change sooner or later.
Sky changed their graphics in 2018, so not too long ago. BBC News's prior graphics were from 2013.
This is actually laughable! Sky´s package (core graphics, ToTH and lower thirds) is from May 2015! Nothing changed in 2018 except a lowercase logo and the addition of some title cards, weather map and press preview graphics, beside this all is in the same style than 2015. They even reverted back from new news wall graphics used in late 2017 to the old 2015 style in 2018. So actually even a step backwards !

It's time for Comcast to take the bull by the horns and re-brand its raft of recently purchased channels, including Euronews and Sky News. If others won't shift the old brand alignments, Comcast needs to. Cut all ties. This is embarrassing having any association with such poor quality right wing rubbish.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s nowhere near the oldest package in use (ITV’s debuted in 2013) and it still looks good IMO. There’s no reason for them to spend money on changing it, especially when that money could be better spent maintaining the high quality of their journalism.

I thought they had tweaked the lower thirds slightly, but you are right, they are pretty much the same as in 2015. And Sky News could do with a refresh. I don't actually watch it much these days, so they haven't outlived their welcome like the BBC News on-screen graphics did
