This is turning into a huge story. Of all my years in the Aviation industry, it actually beggars belief. Shows how an airport .ca. be crippled by something you can buy on eBay for thirty quid!

From a pres perspective, I'm surprised other outlets aren't also anchoring from LGW. A horrible time of the year for families and masses trying to get away for the holidays.

New Sky News weekday schedule from January 7th. Sunrise loses an hour to All Out Politics, Ian King moves to 1.30pm and will be on 5 days a week.

0600-0900: Sunrise
0900-1100: All Out Politics
1100-1330: Lunchtime Live with Colin and Jayne
1330-1400: Ian King
1400-1700: The Kay Burley Show (generically-branded on Fridays)
1700-1900: The News Hour with Mark Austin

Good move to extend Mark's show to two hours. Not keen on losing an hour of rolling news for more Boulton though, while Ian King will be better suited to reacting while the markets are open.

I won't be surprised if All Out Politics returns to 10-11 from April though.

I'm surprised Ian king has been moved to half one... I can see this show being axed soon.

Considering Sky's business coverage is that 30 minute slot, I wouldn't be happy for it to be cut to just market updates on-screen after commercial breaks.

I take it this Year in Review filler is coming from the secondary studio? Like the sofa, but is a typically clinical set.

It's coming from the Sunrise set. The sofa was "borrowed" from Soccer AM.

It looks awful and just plain lazy.

Two huge screens just a showing grey... how hard would it have been to have just got 2 relevant images to the topic they are showing, Chuck one on the left and one on the right... simple

Ratflump and London Lite gave kudos

There's potential there to use a similar set-up for Press Preview, which with the right backdrop and a table would look a lot better than the 'job interview' format they use in the glass box.

There was going to be bespoke branding for the show, but then the graphics department were told to prioritise all the Brexit/vote-of-confidence stuff, and so they ended up only being able to furnish something really simple.

Also, it's a logistical nightmare shooting 1+4 in the glass box... Smile

Indeed, it also saved us from the Kay Burley Ikea sofa.
