Did anyone catch the flippant comment from the Health Secretary on Sophy Ridge this morning? When asked about relaxing restrictions, his answer... "well I know that everyone at Sky News is keen to be able to get back to having parties..."

Savage Wink

I don't suppose Burley's random Tweet on Friday went unnoticed by Hancock. She really should get back in her box.

What did she tweet this week?

She tweeted about the ruling that Hancock acted unlawfully. However she has surpassed herself this morning by tweeting a picture of Prince Charles allegedly crying having been to visit her father. A revolting invasion of privacy! She's been called out for it by the majority of followers for it and rightly so.

I've never liked Kay Burley and sincerely hope she never returns to Sky News.

Oh. Not sure I see anything wrong with that.

(Despite her: a) bringing her employer into disrepute, b) breaching government guidelines and c) even breaking the law).

Nothing wrong if she's a rolling news Twitter feed. But this was a random Tweet two days after her previous one. She's just showing her personal dislike of Hancock. Apparently she's been in blocking mode, not helped by her Prince Charles Tweet.

Not a good look when your highest paid presenter is serving a disciplinary and simultaneously having spats on Twitter. They really should let her go.

She tweeted about the riling that Hancock acted unlawfully. However she has surpassed herself this morning by tweeting a picture of Prince Charles allegedly crying having been to visit her father. A revolting invasion of privacy! She's been called out for it by the majority of followers for it and rightly so.

I've never liked Kay Burley bu sincerely hope she never returns to Sky News.

I'm not sure if you can call Kay's tweet a "revolting invasion of privacy" considering the same picture was on the front page of a number of newspapers today?

The Express and the Telegraph. My point is valid.

Only journalists of the calibre of Piers Morgan and Kay Burley saw it fit to share such an upsetting picture. No class at all.

Opinions - there is quite a difference to overreactions.

It's called deflection. Means that is the comment that people will talk about, rather than any questions about his own behaviour. The media fall for it time after time after time.
Be nicer and more tolerant to each other. Them's the rules.

And - again - that is precisely why Kay isn’t on-air these days. She’s given the Ministers a bullseye target for such deflection.
