Sky/CNN/ITN Newsreader Alison Bell Arrested

It wasn't a raw nerve. It was an immature, upsetting, libellous comment which was made. I removed many comments from the thread on this subject yesterday and closed it as it had gone way off topic. I'm happy for this to be discussed but will not tolerate anyone who cannot abide by the rules.

As fab as I think Alison is, I wouldn't exactly call her "highly respected"! She's a fill-in on the news, for goodness sake, she's hardly Angela Rippon.

This is all being blown out of all proportion. Everytime I go out I see people dealing dodgy stuff, in my eyes she isn't exactly doing anything particularly shocking.

She's due back at the cop shop next week.

I hope we see her back soon. Despite my comments 3 posts up, I still think she's a great presenter and has a lot of potential. ITV News should snap her up to boost their afternoon schedule.

Becky and Fiounnula seem to be managing quite well without her over on CNNI actually. Alison, although not one of my favourites, was watchable, but thats about all I can say.
