Today's Krakow programme was good apart from the wandering camera shots - these are usually done well, but it was so jumpy it distracted from the content in places.

It's disappointing that John Simpson isn't on our screens as much as he used to be. Simpson's World is no longer a monthly fixture on the schedules and in the last few months he has only reported on a handful of stories (US, Afghan and Iraq elections and the Pope's death IIRC). Could this be the start of him being phased out of the news and into retirement??
