Another huge international news story, AIUI it's leading (with the Burma cyclone) on most of the international news channels (but I may be wrong). The BBC's TV coverage seems to be very sub-par, although it did get a mention on Breakfast as breaking news, and the BBC News website went into breaking-news mode earlier.

How are the over channels covering this earthquake?

Afraid the subtitle to the thread this to be updated for the death toll... estimates go up to 50,000 rather than 9,000 now, unfortunately...
