That Reeta Chakrabarti clip, I think newsreaders need to be slightly more animated at times like that in order they get noticed on the bank of monitors in the gallery.


But not exaggerated gestures - which then makes it on air.
You'd have thought they would have a button under the desk which when pressed, lights up in the eyeline of the director in the gallery.
