Indeed. Viz Top Tip: If you find yourself getting shot, make sure it's not by a terrorist, non terrorist inflicted gun shots are not as serious.

Terrorism is for political gain. Quite a clear distinction.

On a terrorist's list of objectives when he goes on a killing spree, is fear through publicly, when a regular 'nutjob' does the same, that's probably way down his list, if at all.

The media need to be very careful not to present the former's actions any differently, or more extensively than the latter's.

Ultimately both are simply deranged individuals.

How dare you reduce terrorism to binary gender. There's nothing to say that a terrorist can't be agender, pangender, gender fluid, non-binary, or a furry otherkin assigned human at birth.
