I've just noticed that "The News with Shepard Smith" is airing on CNBC here in New Zealand (on their APAC stream) at 5pm NZT Saturday, midnight ET. First time I've noticed it airing on CNBC. Assume they are just going to run it delayed around that time from now on, rather than show it live in the middle of their Asia-based shows.
I strongly expect it will disappear internationally in March. Due to Asia not observing Daylight Savings Time, but Europe and the US doing so, every Northern Hemisphere Winter there is an hours gap between Street Signs Asia (fixed to Asian time) and Capital Connection (fixed to European time). The News is filling that gap this winter.

Agree. ISTR last year they extended Capital Connection to 2 hours but for several years before that they ran Fast Money on tape delay in that slot.
There was at least one year with Nightly Business Report in half the slot and a taped programme in the other half. The former no longer being an option
The News is on CNBC Europe right now in glorious stretchyvision.
CNBC World which usually simulcasts output from Asia and Europe is showing filler instead.
I find it weird that there has to be CNBC World in the United States, while Bloomberg is broadcasting most of their programming from Asia, Europe and US on one channel.
But then again, NBCU/Comcast use their channels as a spillover channel during the Olympics.
