They might as well cite a weegie board. But, of course, it's in The Sun ! It MUST be true!

One of the rarest occurrences in history, but it was true!

But the problem I have is that The Sun can't be considered the most reliable of sources. Therefore a story shouldn't be based entirely on what it published, which is the impression I get from the posts here.

What makes you say that? Do you ever read it, or are you just making assumptions?

Or the Scottish version...

How do you make a Ouija board? Take away his Buckfast.

Guaranteed at least 90% of you won't know what I'm on about...

Oh dear, what a sad development. It was rather too late for the 8pm 'dumbed-down-news' on BBC One, but no doubt will get some coverage on the Ten.

Of course, there are unconfirmed reports that the ruse was for money out of the Maddie fund. Whether they are true or not, or whether anything illegal has been done, raises the question of heavy media involvement in cases such as these as it may lead to people thinking of ways to abuse public opinion.

The juxtaposition of the Portuguese Police asking the McCanns to return to Portugal for a 're-enactment' is rather unfortunate.
