Just seen that "Breaking News" item too. Seems that it is her Step-father. This case gets more complex and disturbing with every twist and turn!

Please keep comments made in this topic to just presentation/coverage related matters. For more general comments (eg. 'parenting') it would probably be more appropriate to start a thread on Metropol.

No doubt the plot will thicken even further in the days and weeks and months to come.

it has recently been reported that two women, 25, and 49 have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice respectively.

the mother of craig meehan, alice meehan is reported as being 49. is there a connection?

This being TVF and not Metro, should we anticipate a nice 'Breaking News' sting or someting at 8pm or just the normal headline 90 secs?

I demand that TV Forum have a special stylesheet for breaking pres news or for on-going news coverage, lots of spinning things everywhere BWAHAhaHAHSHAHHAHAHAH!

Sky News are saying a 32-Year old woman has been arrested in the Shannon Matthews case. Karen Matthews the mother is also 32. I wonder if it is just a coincidence!

And unless you want to get into legal issues end the speculation at that point of fact.

martin, calm down dear, its only tv forum. It was not a comment aimed at you; what you posted was fine, and interesting to note that the papers are reporting with name but not on TV.

What was worth pointing out (it is still the school holidays!!) is the type of posts that follow should not spectulate further.... you know why.
