According to the Sky EPG, BBC Breakfast has been dropped tomorrow with the overnight Huw Edwards programme now running until 9.00am, followed by an hour's worth of the News Channel with Gavin Esler until 10.00am.
Inevitable really, considering the overall result is expected to be declared around 6.30/7.30am.
I believe there were voted before hand to help save time.
They said on BBC News today that they wouldn't be counted until after 10pm, so I don't understand this. What do you mean 'voted'? Obviously they voted before the day but not to save time...

I think he's misunderstanding the purpose of a postal vote. From what I gather, he believes that they're there to save time. To a certain extent, in certain personal circumstances - yes.
It's obviously not to save time for the organisers of the referendum though.
There are two distinct phases with the postal vote process. Verification and Count. Indeed the covering letter WILL have been opened. The verification exercise will be in progress now, checking the declaration of voter form matches the details on record. Once this completes the valid vote envelopes will be put aside and not opened until 10pm.
My SKY Guide for ITV on channel 973 is showing STV's Scotland Decides overnight programme with Bernard Ponsonby at 10:40pm. ITV's online TV Guide is showing the same. I thought ITV had their own programme.

Nope, a few pages back it was confirmed to me by someone from within STV, that STV are going UK wide from 10.40pm until 6am...
From what I've seen so far, it looks like it's no expense spared for the BBC and no expense spent for STV. I thought the latter would go to a bit more effort than putting a bigger desk in their usual studio.
I'll be interested to see what the content's like on both, though.
