Andrew Neil tweeted last night that the referendumh documentary was his last documentary for the BBC, but that he'd be continuing with Daily/Sunday Politics and This Week - however he didn't elaborate further than this.

I've JUST clicked, the debate will take place on English Bank holiday Monday.

It appears that STV will also be showing it as a repeat at 22:45 on Mon 25th as well.

The schedule for next Monday on the News Channel includes a 1 hour preview programme at 1930 and a 30 minute review at 2230, both presented by Gavin Esler.

The late night repeat of the debate will be on at 0030 in Wales, and 0000 elsewhere - plus there's a repeat listed at 1900 on Tuesday on BBC Parliament.

The programme page for the debate on the World News schedule site currently says "except Europe & Middle East", but that seems to be just because they've not loaded the schedules for those regions yet.

So this debate will be repeated TWICE in one night? STV would have been better repeating the First debate at 10.45 instead of showing this one again 45mins later.

Also Scotland Tonight will also be on air at 10.15pm.

Also Scotland Tonight will also be on air at 10.15pm.

It's a shorter News at Ten because it's a bank holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

There's another debate scheduled for Tuesday 2 September at 22:40, being shown on STV and ITV (but not UTV).

STV will Broadcast the Second debate along with Border Scotland at 8pm on Tuesday 2 September between 8pm and 10pm. ITV will broadcast it at 10.40 - 00.40, STV Glasgow will also broadcast it, STV player will have it on by 11pm So they're pushing it a lot more this time.

Notably STV's second debate won't have the campaign leaders...

Gavin Esler's preview show is coming from outside Kelvingrove. The slightly clumsy script and pregnant pause at 8pm suggests that World might have joined already.

This debate was a tad poor compared to the STV debate.
