He has made quite a few jokes about the situation today such as,
"Believe it or not this show does have an executive producer, but he's very cheap"!
Visually everything has gone very dull, I can't understand why they haven't closed down the channel already. They have said they are going to put in down, they should put it out of it's misery

You know when the quality of the channel is going down when you have that annoying Trish Adudu on.

I found that section quite funny, actually! Such a shame that the NC's closure is announced when a real decent show comes along...hopefully Scott will be saved...somehow?

Even when he was standing on the 'theatre of dreams' and Trish kept interupting with her god awful laugh!

I feel I must echo the majority of views here - what an excellent show this has turned out to be, and what it shame it will be so short lived! Having a guest throughout the show really adds something and keeps it lively and entertaining, and Scott simply is fab. He's not afraid to say when it goes tits-up, he just makes a joke of it and moves on. Fab fab fab.

I think ITV3 could be used to broadcast some former News Channel programmes.
The Scott Chisholm show could keep its 7-10am slot, with Live with Andrew Harvey from 8-10am on weekends.
Evening News Extra could move there too and perhaps Alistair Stewart could have a news and current affairs show at some point?

No Trish today, yay! Rachel from the Dragon's Den was his guest today and she was excellent.
