How has the afternoon shaped up presenter wise? Also - any new graphics this afternoon?

Did The Scott Chisholm show have any titles, or just say 'ITV News Live with Scott Chisholm'?
The latter.

No special titles for Scott, though the TOTH is slightly different, with a "coming up live" sequence after the headlines (shades of Broken News...?)
1.30 - Chris Rogers
2 - Susan Bookbinder
3 - Chris Rogers
4 - Chris and Susan
5.30 Owen Thomas
Probably not an indication of the general pattern, with so many of the regulars on other duties today (eg Leyla on the Lunchtime News, Mary doing an OB etc).

Scott was on the Morning News this morning promoting his show:

Looks like they're going for an LBC/Five Live-style "presenter's friend" format. Today Eve Pollard was with Scott throughout the programme.

Don't know why they don't just stick the two of them on from 1.30-5.30?
Caught a bit of the Scott Chisholm show this morning - was quite impressed, similar format to other 'Live With' shows what with plenty of lives and inteviews. What with this and Alastair Stewart on directly afterwards the NC's looking pretty strong in the mornings - shame about the rest of the day.

He was on promoting at the end of Monday's Morning News, a good idea as they don't tend to flog the NC that much on the MN, though I doubt viewers would switch over from GMTV to watch the NC.
I only caught the first 15/20 minutes this morning, but I liked what I saw, even better as it's going down the "Live With...." route, it seems to have a more serious agenda than the normal NC output.

yes they need to develop a stronger perfomance during the afternoon, for example having Lucy Alexander and Chris Rogers from 1:30 till 4:00

Or as I said before, have one pair from 1.30-3pm, with them returning for the 4-5.30pm slot. Felicity Barr would host from 5.30pm, while at 3pm have "Live at Three" - a flagship hour of news with live interviews with correspondants, presented by the big names from ITV News. Alistair Stewart, Nicholas Owen and Katie Derham would join Mary Nightingale in being regular hosts of this shift.
If the forthcoming revamp leads to the News Channel getting it's own studio (rather than being axed!), the afternoon schedule should be able to flow alot better without the need for studio switching ahead of the ITV1 bulletins.

I don't think it's "studio switching" per se that's the problem - we've seen that they can have double-headed presentation, studio guests and newswall presentation in the virtual studio - it's just the money (and maybe the will?) to have a full studio/gallery crew to use it to the full isn't there.
