No disrespect to Scott, who is a very good broadcaster, but the promo looks like ITV NC have dragged a tramp off the street to present their breakfast programme.

You don't often get newsreaders with facial hair either, which doesn't help in the 'looking like a tramp' stakes

Yes, he does look a bit trampish or "regional news" doesn't he!

Let's hope he's smartened himself up a bit by tomorrow.

where those rumours on something being done to the studio true? and if they are, what is going on?

I suspect with this morning's events the first edition of the show may be more news focused than it would ordinarily be (you know what I mean!).

Re: set - I think the rumour was it be done from a coffee table type set - so if this is true I'd think until the January "refresh" of the studio they may just lift the desk out and put something else in - if they do anything at all!

To call it a rumour gives it too much credibility. It was just one person's fantasy/wishful thinking.

Seems like a normal morning so far, although that's not a bad thing really! Only thing that concerns me is that Scott's all on his own. Interesting graphics on the newswall though - a simplified version of the spinning round globe made of squares - if you know what I mean. (You don't?)

A nice alternative to the other channels, however.

EDIT! Hold on a cotton-picking second! Is it Scott Chisholm presenting, or is it Anthony Alldritt?!?!
