The article is interesting - I wonder what is meant by them having something up their sleeves? The optimist in me thinks maybe this is them about to start fighting back - the pessimist says it'll probably be more of the same however. Let's hope its the former.

It is great news that Andrew Harvey will take over the weekend morning slot vacated by Angela Rippon earlier this year.

I have listened to Scott Chisholm on Talk Sport for many years now and think he will be an asset to ITV News and wonder if this gives an indication that the ITVNC will survive next year?


I think it's a shame that the Lucy / Andrew team is being split but it looked likely once they reduced it down to 2 days a week. To me they were the only decent breakfast pairing with an adult news agenda on tv in this and last year.

I don't know anything about Scott Chisholm , i hope he's a worthy replacement for Andrew Harvey . It's going to be interesting watching how he does through the winter..

Just have - so it's either the bloke with the tash from Sky or the little lad from the BBC adverts in the late 90s!


I think I know the name from the latter, but recognise the tash from Five News Early. Has he still got it?

He will probably also still be around for filling in for Alistair Stewart.

I don't know anything about this new bloke so I don't know what he'll be like on the ITV News Channel.

Good news that they are still investing in the channel and not running it down. Notice the news of this new signing wasn't 'left on a printer'!!

I heard an interview with Angela on the radio ,she's in a musical this year and next . It seems the seeds planted back on the Morecambe and Wise show have finally come to fruition and she's singing and dancing for a living on the stage. She made no mention of ITVNC so i think they have parted company.
