It does look very tatty though, surely you must agree that the cracks and scuffs on the desk and the fake backgrounds are all a bit noticeable?
Im actually not too much of a fan of the current RS set, never liked the heavy heavy blue. However, still think it looks more "solid" than RS.

And Reporting Scotland's set is hardly cheapo - multiple programmes can be broadcast from there with their own identity (RS, Newsnight Scotland, Politics Show etc) without looking the same.
