Don't know anything about impending changes to Reporting Scotland. Though Louise Stewart (ex North Tonight ) and Jamie McIvor (reporter) now seem to be reading the bulletins occasionally.

Anyone seen the new promos for Reporting Scotland? They look quite good, with a few 'behind the scenes' shots of the studio etc.

I knew it was in the main studio, but its right next to the main screen that the presenters stand in front of. It would look so much better to have a camera handover, rather than have a cheap-looking wipe on the screen.

Good point by Barney Rubble and co...

I wonder if any relaunch would tie in with the rumoured split in STV and Grampian regions. If the two regions will be split into four news services I wonder what this would mean for North Tonight/Grampian News and Scotland Today. I wonder if this will bring it more into line with the ITV regions down south?

I am now back in the north, and I really like seeing Andrea Brymer on Grampian - she was good at STV too. Is Kirsten Gove still first lady or has Pauline Fraser been promoted? Glad that Craig Millar is still there!

I also wonder that if Scotland's ITV news service were to be more devolved what this may mean for BBC Scotland's news service and how their bosses and governors react?

It is very poor that they see the need to stick a break in here......does anyone know if this is common in other regions???

I think most, if not all regions (at least the ITV plc ones) have aquired this break recently.

Yeah, they did lose the break at 6.28pm due to Talking Scotland (very annoying) and the Pollen Count which will be going away soon.

I also noticed this week that we have been getting announcements before the ITV News starts. This may only be for this week though because of the ITV50 presenting.
