It wasn't flipping yesterday during a two-way, but they seemed to be putting up extra useless information in aston-form, but they weren't names of who was on screen - just random facts. It didn't work well. Reminded me of Newsround with those bits of text that sail across the screen... except on Newsround it goes slow enough for you to read it.
Actually, now I think about it, yesterday's operator did seem particularly quick fingered with the astons...
The seven days producer is heading off to Channel 4 News and one of the production journalists is joining Grampian as a sports reporter. Not sure about anyone heading off to GMTV though.
