9.20am on my local radio station, Radio Borders - the presenter (Richard Pacey) announced it as breaking news and told listeners there would be more on the story at 10.


During the 9am news on BBC WM!

(Incidently someone is expecting a visit from 'Inspector Knacker of the Yard', as Galloway put it, for issuing death threats to him, via the text system last night.

While I don't condone the issuing of death threats to radio presenters etc, Galloway, being such a contreversal character, should expect this sort of thing & 'take it on the chin', instead of running off to the Old Bill every 5 mins!)

The first sentence came through for the other blokes at about 8.30/8.40ish I think.

Indeed - Jonathan was actually bought in especially for the special coverage seeing as he had so much experience of Iraq.
