Was Jonathan doing the morning shift on BBC World then joined Tim when news broke?

That Jonathon Charles bloke keeps on interrupting Tim, that will never do! He can't get a word out edge ways, they both keep on talking at the same time. I think Tim has met his match!

I ask because they are both wearing poppys? Am I wrong about WORLD presenters not being allowed to wear poppys.

Also, quite entertaining watching the duo of Tim Wilcox and Jonathan Charles - they keep battling for airtime, talking over each other etc.... it's been going on all morning. LOL>

HAHA - Yes! though Jonathan Charles clearly has more knowledge on the subject as he was/is a World correspondent above all. Glad someone else noticed it.

If he was on world earlier than he wouldn't of had a poppy on, although Kirsty Lang yesterday was wearing one on World, but she wouldn't know right from wrong!

What about ITN and Sky - how are they covering the sentence? Rolling coverage?

Sky had rolling coverage up until 10 but then joined 'Sunday Live' as usual although there has been quite a bit about Saddam.

Willcox & Charles - a future pairing for News 24? Don't think so!!!

What is it with Tim - no wonder he's normally just on his own, he just can't work with people. Whoever I've seen him with he always tries to take charge, which is totally unrealistic as he's usually by far the poorer presenter. He's like a jumped up school prefect.

I hope Jonathan will punch him in a minute, or get Nicholas Witchell to sit on him!
