A TV job site is advertising a sound engineer job for a new studio they're opening in Edinburgh. Not clear if this is just a down the line or something bigger.

It's probably a down the line job, so RT UK can cover the Scottish Parliament.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of a push into Scotland. Russia Today has a fanbase among some of the nuttier elements of the Yes crowd who see all of the "mainstream media" as against them and adopt an "enemy's enemy is my friend" mentality. You know the sort, the professional protesters who would turn up to protest against an envelope.
These people don't represent the majority of those who voted Yes - they're simply the loudest - but they're a viable audience, and play straight into Russia Today's hands.
I'm not at all surprised. There are lots of poster ads for RTUK in and around some of the edgier parts of Glasgow and Edinburgh. (Leith, etc) When they had a LIVE camera in George Square streaming the celebrations and the scuffles for a few days, they instantly hooked some of the Yessers.
Breaking the Set's replacement Watching the Hawks launched last week on RT America. In this episode from April 2nd, one of the presenters is co-presenting from LA, so a large plasma has been installed by the transparent desk.
