Can't see the logic in trying to establish itself in a country by slagging off the country.

Kudos to whoever keeps convincing governments and the wealthy that funding these utterly irrelevant micro-channels is a good idea, I don't know how they do it when it's so obvious that they are totally useless.

Russia would've been better off stacking however many millions they poured into this viewerless operation in a big pile and setting it alight, it'd certainly garner more viewers.

Nice to see they've carried across the inexplicable use of green paper, though.

Putin rates RT so well that despite austerity measures in Russia, he's increased their budget for 2015/16.

Ironic to see him funding a news channel when he is usually just murdering independent journalists.

He's a former Communist. It's no real surprise he loves having heavily state controlled media 'broadcasting to the world'. However, sadly, some of the points made by the leadership at RT are correct. The BBC is - whether we like this or not - a state controlled entity. It claims to have independence from the Government but it would be fairly ridiculous to suggest that the national public broadcaster, which relies entirely on public taxes (which can be cancelled at any point by the politicians) would not pander, at least some times, to the powers that be. RT's endless attempts to portray Broken Britain, corrupt Europe and chaotic USA can often make it come across like a neurotic conspiracy theorist, but there are some positives. The top story on the Green party being excluded from national debates, despite having several MEPs, control of a council and an MP is a seriously important story. We have major problems in this country. It's unfortunate that RT is the only outlet that seems to be covering some of them.

You can't fault RT's austerity reports from the UK. especially the benefit cuts, but it's the overall agenda they have towards this country I find suspicious.

If you watch Breaking the Set, it's as if RT are using anti establishment figures such as Abby Martin to build up even more hatrid towards the US government. I imagine George Galloway was hired because of his leftish views on RT UK's Sputnik. Galloway also worked on the now banned in the UK Press TV.

RT America are opting out from 4pm ET until midnight for mid term election coverage.

Keep drinking the vodka if the greens were at 15/20%consistently they would have a place in the debates.
The SNP have a bigger right to be in the debates.
