I am not sure if this has been mentioned yet but The RTS Television Journalism Awards Dinner 2005/2006 will be hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky on tonight from 7.30pm.
Wouldn't it just be hilarious if al-Jazeera English won it?
To be honest, not convinced Sky deserve it back. Been a right bloody shambles over the past year, although I still maintain better than News 24 which has actually stopped providing rolling news at some hours of the day.
I suspect News 24 will win it, although I genuinely don't see why. It's of course better than it was several years ago, in that it has become even more like Sky News, but then hard to see it could've got any worse.
I'd be satisfied if they gave it to AJI or Russia Today for a laugh.
I think BBC News 24 will win once again, it would be nice for Sky News to win, but BBC News 24 have the one thing that means more people enjoy their coverage - viewers.
I hope the judges see past this and see how Sky News has been trying to gain viewers back.
