Phew - thank goodness for that.
Another year goes by without Bill Turnbull winning anything !

It wouldn't be so bad, after all the new programme is essentially The West Tonight under a new name, it's Westcountry Live that lost out. If they won an award it would be very embarrasing

Apologies - that's me getting confused. I was thinking it was the Westcountry show nominated for some reason.

I didn't realise Jason Farrell was a specialist journalist. I thought he was just a general reporter. What does he specialise in? Do Five News even have specialist journalists?

Anybody know the results yet?

BBC News has won News Channel of The Year

They can finally dump 'Britain's Most Watched news channel' and replace it with its rightful title!

How long do we think it'll be till they update with their new title?

Mark and Katie mentioned on the News at Ten that ITN cameraman Peter Wilkinson had been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award.

I do agree that the actual format of the news channel is good, its just the sloppy technical problems that let the channel down from time to time.
