Watching Twitter tonight, ITV have indeed picked up the majority of awards... no surprise considering they were up against themselves in most categories. Very surprised the BBC News channel didn't get News Channel of the Year. The channel has improved dramatically since the NBH move in terms of on screen presentation, variety etc (the camera wobbles aside).
Surprised ITV didn't have one more for their collection. Although I like Jeremy Bowen I thought Bill Neely had another outstanding year and was a cut above the rest and was deserving of the Journalist of the Year award. Also nominated was Mark Stone who if this past year has anything to go by has a long career in foreign journalism ahead of him and no doubt win the award in the future.

Yes !! could it have been that the vision switcher 'jammed' , it seemed they were unable
to cut away from George A ? Rather than go to emergency cut bus, they just ended the programme ?
How early did it end, didn't seem to catch out BBC South with their opt (at least not visibly !)
