I was looking at stuff online, and I found these pictures:

These are photos of the set of TVNZ one in New Zealand. It seems perfect for RTE. TVNZ's studio seems roughly the size of RTE's, yet they can still make it look good. I just don't understand.RTE is just downright cheap. This would be much better.

That set is much bigger, opposite that desk is a Breakfast set which includes another news desk and to our left there used to be a stand up area with a big screen.

I'm just saying the normal news set itself would fit perfectly in RTE's Studio. I didn't mean the breakfast set. All I meant was that RTE could definatly put a great set into a small studio.

Regarding the report on youtube, you talk too slowly, and you sound patronizing.

In my opinion RTE News should start to use professional lighting equipment and to broadcast their bulletins from a CSO. Professional CSO would help RTE to make the poor news studio look bigger.

If you do not believe in CSO, visit here http://www.tagesschau.de/sendungen/0,,,00.html - a great example how simple and professional can a CSO-made studio be.

The studio images pasted by Seamus few posts ago are nice regarding the colour itself but they make a bit too dark feeling. RTE should have something brighter in colour, like the BBC.

Yes but why post in here in the first place, off topic or otherwise. It would be like making an 'off topic' post about Doctor Who in the here, which would be completely pointless. Why not just start a new thread and post your package there, where it would likely get more attention anyway.

Yes but why post in here in the first place, off topic or otherwise. It would be like making an 'off topic' post about Doctor Who in the here, which would be completely pointless. Why not just start a new thread and post your package there, where it would likely get more attention anyway.


I have done it before, and the people who subscribe to this thread were receptive to it. Now, if they are not now, I will stop.

But that DOES NOT distract from the fact that tvmercia has been incivil and rude to others on this forum.

oh bore off with your pretend news report. you posted it in the mocks forum, because that's what it is - a mock, however only two people replied. so you've obviously thrown it into this thread in the hope it might get noticed. but by going on to post it in the main forum, in a completely random thread no less, you are spamming.

please do not mistake honesty for rudeness. i am known for my good nature and patience on this forum

I am not willing to continue on with this argument. You are a rude, demeaning, and all around miserable person, from your incivility to others that has been noted before.

AND I WILL ALSO LET YOU KNOW that my works are not mocks. I put them there because there is no forum to showcase works that are not mocks.
