Of course...

Evening Standard = DMGT = ITN shareholders = ITV News.

Sky now have Martin Stanford presenting Sky News Today outside Buckingham Palace.

Adam Boulton is saying that there are murmurs of political upset, because the election has to be called in the week that the two are going to marry, that is presuming it is May 5th. It obviously has to be called at least 4 weeks in advance.

A reporter on the ITV News channel said there were rumours that any expected announcement would be a date for the General Election.

"The Prince of Wales is to marry Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles. The marriage will take place on Friday 8th April at Windsor Castle.

Mrs Parker Bowles will use the title HRH The Duchess of Cornwall after marriage.

It is intended that Mrs Parker Bowles should use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.

The wedding will be a largely private occasion for family and friends. It will comprise a civil ceremony in Windsor Castle on Friday 8th April. There will be subsequently a blessing conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury in St.George's Chapel."

Looks like Martin Stamford is reading from that statement now. He just introduced viewers to 'Sky News coming live from outside Buckingham Palace and our studio complex in Osterley, West London."

A man from the Evening Standard is on Sky News now, sounding incedibly cheesed off (not least because Martin got his name wrong).

ITV1 still showing Trisha and This Morning but so far This Morning has been dedicated to the news and also spoke to Tom Bradbury via the ITV Newsroom. (That is twice this week that This Morning have spoken to ITV News on their show) I bet you Fern and Philip are kicking themselves as it's another day where starting the show that they have probably had to rip the script up! lol

I think there has been a conspiracy this week aswell. I don't know how many times I have heard presenters refer to the ITV News as 'ITN'! Fern Britton has just mentioned it again at 10:51 before the ITV News Summary at 10:55. Jan Rivers impersonating Ellen MacArthur also called the news organisation ITN rather than ITV News! Remarkably ITV News showed the impersonation in full Smile Smile Smile It goes to show that the public and even presenters on the channel still are fond of the ITN brand!

Sky News are getting in big trouble over Adam Boulton's insinuation that perhaps Downing St. had something to do with the release of the story!

Amusingly, he keeps mentioning it, so there must be something in it.

ITV Wales News have led with this story at 10:55 where presenter Sally Johnson accidentally called her Camilla Parker-Jones (lol)
ITV Wales have already been out on the streets and showed some voxpops of what people from around Wales thought on the announcement.

There were mixed reactions about the annoucement - but Im sure this is all we are going to hear all day now!
