What a great week (news-wise) this will be.

Monday
Funeral - Lord Callaghan

Tuesday
Election being called

Friday
Funeral - Pope
Wedding - Charles and Camilla
Wedding - Ken and Diedre

Saturday
Grand National

It really is turning into Two wedding, two funerals and an election!
And throw in a horse for good measure!

The ITV Lunchtime News have spent the first 6 minutes covering the Royal Wedding fiasco. Andrea Catherwood was presenting and dealt with the story with her tongue in her cheek and had a bit of a laff with UK Editor Tom Bradby about the whole fiasco that the wedding has turned into. It was quite a light-hearted discussion and they also spoke to a Bridgroom of someone getting married at the same place on Saturday and asked them LIVE on air whether they would postpone their own wedding to make way for Charles and Camilla.

It really was a great 6 minutes and dealt with in such a way that you could only laugh and enjoy the amount of bad luck that this wedding has attracted!

He 'claimed' that his contacts at Buckingham Palace have informed him that preparations are being made to postpone the wedding if The Pope's funeral is on Friday. This is due to Prince Charles attending the funeral rather than The Queen.

I'm sure there's no way the wedding will be on Friday now, and it's not just because Prince Charles is the named representative of the Queen and British monarchy at the Pope's funeral. Whatever Charles think of "faith", "faiths" or being a defender of the Church of England, Clarence House must be seen to do the 'right thing' and have an official blessing after the civil ceremony, and there's only one person who'll do that job. Trouble is, the Archbishop of Canterbury will most definitely be in Rome on Friday, surely?

According to the BBC, royal aides are "reviewing things".

At least the funeral is early in the day, so there won't be clash of times.

Thank you, but sadly, not my work....

It was sent to me by my Mum who received it from some colleagues in the German office of the company she works for.

They warned Charlie not to cross Nick, but would he listen, would he hell!

Anyway does this mean any changes to the TV listing now its been moved, (to the middle of the night, if I had my way.) Are we still to be "treated" to the service, then highlights or have they now been ditched. (PLEASE)

I simply can't wait....
