And I believe that Bow Tie TV is the company Jonathan H is referring to.

Indeed. They are also quite a large OB company.

On the big day BBC1's coverage will run from 12.30 to 3.40 with Sophie Raworth and Huw Edwards.

ITV1's programme will be anchored by Nicholas Owen and Katie Derham and will run from 2.15 to 3.30.

Highlights at 7.30pm on BBC1.

"Highlights at 7.30pm on BBC1" I'll set the video.

Nice to see Sophie out and about. She seems to be hoovering around at the minute. Is she still on the six?

Yes it's nice to see Sophie around, but I think they should have given the job to Moira, she would have been fantastic.

It would be rather brillaint. We did a straw poll in the office this morning and we decided the best presenter for the cermony would either be John Humphries or Eddie Mair. Cutting satire is whats needed not sympathy.

I wish the beeb would give Moira more of a role. even a bulletin. The National bulletins now need to a major rejig.

You know I was surpirsed the other day watching her. I usually see her or Joanna Gosling with Chris Lowe.
But recently they seem to be doing more of their own things and boths are excellent when left alone.

Yes I agree. I don't have digital TV at in my flat, so I only watch News 24 when I'm at my parents house. but when I was on holiday for the easter weekend, my hotel room had didgtal TV. I saw Carrie on News 24 on Saturday morning and thought she was really good and very engaging with the viewers. I think she should be promoted to BBC One News to present the 1 O' clock News once Anna retires or the 10 O' Clock news on weekends.

Well there was rumours of this pool of presenters, seems like most have drownd now but still we live in hope and Anna got to retire soon....either that or have a cardiac on the National.
They're was talk that Raworth would move to the 10 and someone would take over the 1. It was suspected Raworth would do this but if shes off to the 10 then maybe.....
Her and Jane Hill should have more of a "presence" on BBC One. Can't wait until the National gets some plastic surgery now......hehe..... Laughing

Sorry. I have visions. She's definatly old school BBC News aprtly the reason I quite like her, she has that air of authoirity when shes talking. During the Hutton Whitewash she was excellent and a real face on BBC News.
Did worry slightly when they talked of simularcasting the 1 with News 24.
