For what it's worth, though, I would have said ABC have access to some better shots than NBC - wider shots, at least, with NBC going for more close ups.

I've just had a quick look at ABC, and they're largely sticking with the BBC International feed. I think NBC are using ITN's ceremonial feed. (They just commented on a close-up of "Mr Bean" filing into the Abbey...)

Meanwhile, Huw is now going out on World.

I suspected as much. NBC seem to have pretty strong ties to NBC at the moment. NBC have Martin Bashir on - a very clever appointment last year.

The sound mixing was dreadful a few minutes ago - the sound 'from the camera' was overpowering the voice of Huw. I noticed that during the Maundy Money service - how do these things work? Surely there's someone monitoring it?

Sorry but the voice of Huw is much too deep and monotonous for this.

I've switched to ITV, where the commentary is more varied and they actually sound happy.

Cheers for those. I think ZDF probably wins the design award...

World have dropped their ticker (and just have a DOG).

The picture quality on Sky News HD is stunning. Alastair Bruce's commentary is a true asset - he knows when to stop talking. Also, she's may not be everyone's favourite, but Kay Burley's doing a good job alongside.

There will be a signed repeat at some point, but, er, I can't tell you when because bbc.co.uk/programmes appears to be broken.
