No, it's because that's where people always go for the big national events. Incidently did anyone see the great BBC One promo before the lunchtime news bulletin
The BBC do it their way, and the light channel do it their way.... as it should be.
If the BBC's viewing figures are higher it's because people assumed there would be adverts on ITV.

I saw about 30 seconds of it on the News Channel before they crashed out of it and into the filler 'countdown' loop for no good reason. It looked great from what I saw, very clever - I'll have to look out for the rest of it.
