I definitely agree that the momentum in coverage has really slowed. There's nothing really more to say at all. ITV could have at least starting advertising now, since the need for rolling coverage isn't necessary any more.
ITV certainly getting the views from correspondent from around the world. Now CTV in Canada.
Are you including Dermot O'Leary and Angela Rippon in that? I didn't really watch enough of E!'s coverage to fairly judge but the little bits I did see weren't as car crash as it might have been.
I don't get E! so I didn't think about that- sound sgreat
This is what you missed.

If you were wondering about the countdown DOG. It disappeared with 15 seconds left without a comment from anyone.
Surprised that Tim Ewart hasn't featured in ITV's coverage today but it was nice to see Romilly Weeks have a substantial role in the coverage.
I was really surprised he didn't feature. I get the feeling though that he'll be on the News at Six and News at Ten with summaries of the day. What about the BBC though, has Nicholas Witchell appeared at all today?
I'm too growing somewhat bored of the coverage at the moment - it would have been better if it had ended around an hour or two ago, rather than drawing it out into the afternoon with repeats etc. Although I do appreciate that some will be just tuning in, having missed the morning's events.
Nicholas Witchell was on Breakfast, briefly, just after 6am where he said he was invited to the wedding. I imagine we'll see a report of some sort from him later.
It's a shame Fiona Bruce disappeared after about 3/4 interviews. I thought she would have had more of a larger part in the coverage. I think this sort of occasion is more of her thing; she seemed to have quite a good energy, and quite a light-hearted coverage on last night's 10.

Well Sky's Royal correspondent, Paul Harrison tweeted earlier
Quote:
Outside Westminster Abbey with BBC's Nick Witchell and ITV's Tim Ewart ready to go into wedding http://twitpic.com/4qvdqt
So they seemed to be there, not sure in which capicity?
Edit:
as someone said abover, seems the roayl correspondents were invited! Thought it seemed that way from the above tweet.

I think it's because around now (3:30pm) the newlyweds are suppose to be leaving Buckingham Palace, so maybe they want to show that live. ITV especially i'm really suprised they didn't give up ages ago, considering there not showing ad's ( although I beilieve they are allowed to now just choosing not to, as the royals aren't directly on screen)
Ticker and clock now back on Sky News. Eamonn Holmes is (just) about managing to keep the coverage going, but it has slowed down considerably. Alistair Bruce was fantastic throughout the ceremony and has been excellent all afternoon as well.
I think in the other Royal Wedding thread it was mentioned that 24 journalists were going to attend the ceremony, including Paul Harrison. So I presume Tim Ewert and Nicholas Wichall may have been in the Abbey?

BBC coverage was ok for me but I agree it was a bit dire and too serious at times. I think they should have put Sophie with Huw and Fiona on her own at Westminster. That would give them more dynamic and also better use of Fiona.
Couldn't watch ITV but from all of your comments and on Twitter seems like they had a winners team and coverage.
CNN was terrible with their mess of a team - Cooper/Morgan/Cat. Wish they just used Quest, he's a Royal expert and fun too unlike these 3.
