The ITV News political editor, Tom Bradby, scooped his rivals today to the first interview with Prince William and Kate Middleton after the newly engaged couple asked
"specifically"
for him.
Bradby is an old friend of the heir to the throne and beat the BBC and Sky News to the interview, which will be broadcast in an ITV News special on ITV1 at 7pm tonight.
The interview will also be made available to other broadcasters, strictly embargoed for 7pm, and a transcript will be sent to all news organisations.

I always find it slightly annnoying on events like this - because by the time the 6:30 news comes on your've already heard near enough the same things. Plus they always do things that have no regional relevence , I.e just now - a live with NBC correspondent on "how America is reacting" - whats that got to do with local news?

The Ark Royal report was several days ago. The Queen has been conducting investitures at Windsor today.
I've only seen glimpses of the News Channel today - no sign of Nick Witchell? I know he's not in Afghanistan still, because he was with the Queen at Ark Royal earlier today - does William share his father's views on Nicholas?
