The marriage will take in spring/summer 2011.

BBC World News simulcasting with the News Channel from 11.30am.

Interestingly Jennie Bond is currently providing analysis by telephone on Sky News - captioned as a 'Royal Commentator'.

EDIT: BBC One will also join the News Channel at 11.45am.

No . . . the 'BBC News Special' is in place of 'To Buy or Not to Buy'. Intro from Matthew Amroliwala followed by the generic titles.

... at least the preprepared video reports can be run now.

I wonder if any of the main evening bulletins will bite the bullet and headline with the Guantanamo inmates' payout story rather than the Royal Wedding news (not than I'm cynical or anything!).

ITV haven't broken into programming, however 'This Morning' are discussing the news with their own Royal Correspondent.

ITV news summary was extended slightly earlier.

Sounds like the sort of thing Channel 4 would do

Special Sky News programme with Anna Botting at 7pm.

As ever, ITV News fails at times of National significance. It has to be said though, I am sure ITN went to the network with a request to run coverage, and probably turned down.

Indeed . . . that's what I was thinking as well.

Sky News have a special programme with Anna Botting at 7.00pm.

BBC World Channel is staying with the News channel while GMT goes ahead on BBC Two. (Despite BBC World going to a weather and break filler they came back to the news channel rather then launching GMT.

The special Sky News programme will apparently include the first interview with Prince William and Kate Middleton on their engagement. I imagine it may be a pooled interview shown on the BBC at the same time.
