It's not that surprising really, they seem to pride themselves on not reporting such stories and sticking to the hard news.

That's a bad call really, especially on the last day of the football season. If it got to 7pm fair enough but as things stand they should be able to fit it in around 6.50pm.


Dreadful call! At 5.30 they said they wouldn't be coming out for "45 minutes to an hour" so they had plenty of time for five minutes of local news, and then as you say they had enough time to stick on half an hour of You've Been Framed. No excuses.

We also effectively lost the national news too as there was no round up of other stories, so they'd have been more than justified in breaking for 5-10 minutes for the local news and then returning with a regular bulletin.
