Sounds interesting, looks like it will be fluffier than the Andrew Marr show. But does anybody know where it will be broadcast from?
I presume it will be The London studios and not ITN, correct me if I'm wrong.

Perhaps even Studio 7?

Studio 7 would be a nice studio to broadcast from with those lovely views.

Completely speculating, maybe studio 5 at the London studios? IIRC, didn't the Sunday political shows on itv come from studio 5, and were produced by GMTV.

Sad news also of his father's passing just yesterday.

It seems strange that the BBC is letting him plug his new ITV show on its airwaves.

The BBC and ITV aren't that petty about such things. It is mutually beneficial - they may be promoting "the other side" but they're getting content themselves out of such promotion.

Considering Good Morning Britain has a standing set in Studio 5, I don't think so. Peston on Sunday is going to be produced by one of ITV's production companies, Shiver I believe (same one that produces Ranvir Singh's show), not by ITV Breakfast.

There would be some benefit to a programme like this not being in London, given how most of the MPs are back in their constituencies at the weekends. If it were in Salford (for example) it might get access to different guests to the ones Marr and the Sunday Politics have.

Well Erron Gordon has tweeted that he will be launching 'Peston on Sunday'. So the ITV Breakfast connection may be closer than you think.

If we were to speculate that it will come from studio 5 i wonder how much of GMB's set would be redressed, maybe they'd change the window backgrounds and change desks and furniture to suit the programme. Think of it, it would be cheaper than building a brand new set. Or studio 7 doesn't require a lot of decoration to look good on air. You only need furniture.

If the ITV Breakfast connection is there the Lorraine studio could be an option - they change the set daily for Loose Women so changing it for a Sunday wouldn't be an issue. Similarly with GMB just placing a set in front of the GMB set would do the job too.
