No, I think Fiona should go to regional news. Her coldness reading the news at 10 o' clock is very noticeable with me. Huw should be relegated back to the 6 O' Clock News, and let's put Anna Ford or Peter Sissons back on the 10, or yet, Moira Stuart. Has Anna ever done the 10 o' clock programme? Has Moira?

listen, if the BBC didnt think Huw was good enough for the flagship news programe, why would they put him there.
i must admit, the 10 on the bbc isnt too good. i prefere if they did more like standing up and loads of things on the back screens. all this could be done if Huw was the managing editor

I forgot you know Huw personally and he told you he'd do that if he was in charge.
Oh please

The last time Anna did a bulletin at Ten Oclock, it was a bank holiday, short bulletin.
She did - of course - present SEVERAL bulletins at Ten over on ITN, alongside Reggie, Sandy and Alistair.
Moira has only ever done the Ten (when it was still the "Nine") once, back in the virtual era. The BBC decided when the virtual era was launched that the main anchors of the Nine would also present the late bulletins at weekends, thus giving a continuous 7 day late evening news service, presented by (initially) Lewis or Buerk, eventually becoming Buerk or Sissons.
One night, a Saturday evening, Moira was actually there to read the news at Nine. (She always did the lunchtime and early evening bulletins anyway on Saturday and Sunday in those days).

For goodness sake, Fiona went to an inner-city comprehensive school near Peckham in London. She also sang in Beyonce's Crazy in Love at a karaoke contest for the Crimewatch Christmas Party last year. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE SOMEONE WHO IS COLD? NO, I DON'T THINK SO.
