I assume this wasn't broadcast and that you saw him doing this when you were walking past. Either way, good on him - I've seen him suffer this sort of treatment on air in Paisley during the alleged stabbings. Just because you're a journo doesn't mean you deserve to be hassled by neds constantly. Can't help thinking it might be counter-productive though, they'd probably come back later on and be even more abusive.
I am glad Reporting Scotland is coming to an end, it's long overdue. The programme is a complete joke. It appears they do all they can to avoid interviewing Scots. When the "scotland today" programme covers the same stories they always seem to find a Scot to interview. The only time you are guaranteed to hear a scot been interviewed is in the sport section of reporting SCOTLAND.
Are we are not good enough for thier programme? Long live Scotland Today
Who said that Reporting Scotland is to come to an end? And what will it be replaced by?
I was back in Scotland for a few days last week and absolutely hated the stand-up presentation. It is abysmal, and don't think that the newscasters like it either.
Shereen's programme is far more watchable, although I also don't like the standing on that either.
Big story today in Glasgow the poor little boy two years old who was shot by an airgun yesterday has now died in hospital. RPS top story at lunchtime.
Meanwhile Lunchtime Scotland Today is on at 2pm NOT a mention of this story instead they are LIVE at the baby show in Glasgow. Sarah Heaney linking to the Reporter there "my idea of hell a room full of screaming babies" bit inappropriate for todays big story and a Glasgow one at that .
I know that the lunchtime show is light etc but normally when a local story of this nature breaks they do focus on it obviously NOT today .
and having a phone in on Mothers Day and back to the baby show after a technical problem HELLO !!!! what is going on
