Programmes are now running 20 minutes late. I tell you that as the continuity announcer is tucked up in bed.
That was the quickest 30 minutes ever.Weir's Way was cut to 10 minutes to allow SMG to rejoin the Network.
BTW it was Ant and Dec for the THIRD time today into Weir's Way.

Wow, Deacon Blue and Shereen all on the same show!!!!! I am sorry I missed it. If anyone has it on DVD, I would gladly pay for the copy to be sent down to me here. Honest!
Shereen is great - down to earth and does connect well with the viewers, as Gav said above.
But your mate will have to wait, as I gather that Shereen is still with Mark Smith.

Why does Scotland Today INSIST on employing Presenters and Reporters who are NOT Journalists

Sarah Heaney and Nick Dixon both anchors on Scotland Today are NOT Journalists.I have just saw that idiot Marie Clair McManus doing a report on the lunchtime show .
This sounds awful too but i have just seen a segment on the lunchtime show from Radio Clyde Suzie Maguire,Billy Sloan and co doing some sort of dire line dance or shuffle live
everyone on the line up was realy overweight bulging out of their jeans that took alot of guts .

It's a shame. They try hard, but lack the professionalism. I find Stephen Jardine especially hard to watch as I feel he's always not quite sure of himself, and get the impression he's trying to blag his way through. You can always tell they don't know much about stories when they have to spontaneously fill for a few minutes - they usually always stumble and repeat things or try and remember what they read in the paper earlier.
On the death of Jodi Jones, it was cringeworthy when Jardine turns to a reporter and asks, "So, how close was this evil youngster to literally 'getting away with murder'?" It was cheesy, inappropriate and just not acceptable.
Anyway - I've just looked at Grampian's Annual Report and see that they're planning to relaunch North Tonight soon - any news on that?

I don't know where the "Marie" comes from. She was plain old Claire McManus when I knew her.

Well on the back of the news that the Lockerbie Bomber has moved into my home town of Greenock I was their watching Mike Edwards reporting live from Gateside Jail, as per usual he coped withn the "wee neds" in his usual fashion by telling them to go and f@#k off! PROFESSIONALISM, eh? Although, I would have done the same...
