I do like it, it’s better than the weird awkward walk presenters would do at the start.
At the risk of offending BBC Scotland staff, if you’d ever met the senior editorial team, you’d understand why there is no passion or creativity on show. The people at the top have been there for years and it shows. Reporting Scotland often faces criticism for bias. I think they probably enjoy that as it distracts from the real crime - bland telly by numbers.
📣Huge congratulations to @GlennBBC who has just been announced as BBC Scotland’s new Political Editor.

Glenn says it’s a “huge privilege and a huge responsibility and I am really looking forward to getting started.”
You will see him in his new role from January. pic.twitter.com/h7MG6kr9cZ
Starts in the New Year.
Not entirely surprising as I can only think of Sarah Smith as the only other person currently at the BBC who could fill the role.
Can't imagine Glenn's fairly new role as Chief Political Correspondent will be filled given recent layoffs at Pacific Quay.

I'm sure he's now having the time of his life.
