Got rid of the wrong presenter, I reckon! What would you choose, someone with experience of reporting in Bosnia and presenting national news, or someone who hosts the Hogmanay show every year?

Think the stories about the dislike between the two are true though. There was a classic from a couple of years back. BBC Scotland engineers somehow managed to smuggle Shereen Nanjiani and the guy who presents the STV news in to the Reporting Scotland studio. She was given a ginger wig, he got a fat suit, and they recorded a mock version of RS where they were fighting continuously - shown at the BBC Christmas Party (which neither JB nor DR attended. ) Never seen it, but very funny, I'm told!

Thanks to the original poster on the other forum. Just wondering if anyone can verify the existence of said "mock" video by Nanjiani and MacKay (I assume). I would love to see it. LOL.

On the subject of Jackie Bird specifically, I assume she is still at RS? With Sally Magnusson as the relief presenter?

Interesting shot of the old Reporting Scotland studio in Queen Margaret Drive, Glasgow.

I'll bet some of those dangling things have been there ever since the days of Mary Marquis.
