If there is enough red reflected in the desk then you should be able to get a key off it (though CSO from Red is unusual as it is much closer to flesh - and lip - tone than CSO Green or CSO Blue) and then as long as you can fix the camera angle you can DVE in a reflection of the image in the main panel.
ITN's "Theatre of News" VR set does this to key in desk reflections.

The side panels don't have projection/video screens on them - any images which appear there are superimposed on. I was commenting on how I am impressed that they've now got this to reflect on the desk as in the past you would just see a red patch reflected on the desk. Even now, despite there being no red wall 'on screen', with it being covered by a computer image - there is still a reddish light reflecting onto the desk area.
