Can anyone else hear the horrendous background chatter in PQ over the news? It will be spilling out of the restaurant and up from the foyer as today was open day. No soundproofing whatsoever.
How ironic as they are trumpeting the specially designed building in the bulletin!

Very annoying background sound. I can't believe the presenter hasn't said sorry...

Annoying but amusing in a Python-esque way - it seemed to get louder and louder. Hope somebody " puts " it on the net

Whereabouts is that wee set in the headquarters? If it is in the newsroom, please just turn the desk and cameras around cos that red background and plasma screen looks awful.

Perhaps she did not hear anything??
Yes, but surely someone could have told the director.
As for changing the name of the programme - why would that be necessary and would it make any sense?
It would be something perhaps to appease Alex Salmond, make the programme sound more like the main BBC News bulletins rather than regional news? Salmond still wants a scottish six doesn't he
Its all speculation on my part anyway as I was playing devils advocate to the quote as titles could infer the name, or the programme titles
I still cannot see this as a viable option in appeasing someone who favours a Scottish Broadcasting Corporation to a British Broadcasting Corporation with it's high heed yins in London, England.
