Exactly. Why would Scotland have the Blackpool Tower in the titles?

Even if the new titles had the tower in them, I think I would just be happy to see a fresh look Wink

Sorry, but where exactly does he hint at new opening titles for Reporting Scotland?

Anyone else noticed they now seem to have " adjusted " camera angles? There now seems to be an overuse of Jackie and David at an angle, while an image is on the left " wall " and there is also extreme close ups of both them when reading stories. ( The latter IMO is a lot better than one looking bemused while the other reads a story ).

Would be even better if David Robertson stopped lifting his hand up off the desk while he was talking... Smile

"Mr Thompson said future plans at the new HQ would include:

* Relaunching a number of existing programme titles at Pacific Quay"

I think is what was being referred to. You could also infer from the same sentence that they could drop the Reporting Scotland name and call it something like BBC Scotland News

Good point alarsne53.

However, I doubt that would happen unless they change BBC Wales Today to BBC Wales News and BBC Newsline BBC Northern Ireland News. I may be wrong though (would not be the first time).

I am surmising but am hoping some other member of this site can give us some hope. HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT NOW?

Perhaps it will be October 2009? At least we'd have a full decade (exception of tweaks off course!) Nice BIG sign outside Pacific Quay now I see!

Maybe they're saving the titles for the 40th anniversary next year ( or maybe it will be renamed before then )...

Well the BBC revamp programmes in other parts of the UK more often than SKY changes its schedule. Come on it is high time we got a new look programme like many licence payers have got in the 2000s.

As for changing the name of the programme - why would that be necessary and would it make any sense?
